Who can enter
Entry to the prize draw is open to registered Raumati Reads participants who have completed 20 days of reading by the date that prize entries close (1st February 2026, close of business (COB)).
How to enter
Register to participate in Raumati Reads and complete 20 days of reading between Saturday 6th December 2025 – Sunday 1st February 2026. Participants will indicate their prize preference during the registration process.
Participants must share their 20-day reading progress with a librarian at any Auckland Council Library by presenting their complete reading tracker located in their Raumati Reads activity booklet. Upon doing so, the librarian will mark the participant as complete, entering the participant’s name into their preferred prize draw(s). PLEASE NOTE that prize draws selected at the time of registration are final and CANNOT be changed.
There are five prize draws (see Prize Distribution and Details below for more information). A single participant can enter as many prize draws as they wish; however, only one entry is permitted per draw.
Entries can be received no later than COB on 1 February 2026.
General terms
Entrants under the age of 18 require a parent or guardian to be present when entering the draw.
There is no fee to enter the prize draw.
To be eligible to enter the prize draw(s), participants must be officially registered with Raumati Reads, completed 20 days of reading, and shared their reading progress at an Auckland Council Library.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Prize distribution and details
Prizes are geographically ringfenced to ensure fair and even distribution across Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). Allocation is based on the location of the library which each participant identifies as their home library upon registration.
